Wildlife Asia’s currrent appeals

Wildlife Asia’s currrent appeals include:

Wildlife Asia appeal for The Orangutan Project
Urgent appeal to save orangutan habitat in Bukit Tigapuluh, Sumatra
We need to take urgent action to ensure that orangutan and elephant habitat is saved from being cleared for palm oil and timber plantations. Wildlife Asia is inviting all Australians to help by donating to our appeal which will run from now until Orangutan Caring Week, November 11-17 2012.

Wildlife Asia appeal for The Asian Rhino Project
Tim Flannery and Peter Hall launched the appeal at the Botanic Gardens on 1 August.  The Wildlife Asia appeal for The Asian Rhino Project will run until World Rhino Day on 22 September 2012.  Donations are tax deductible and 100% of donations go to fieldwork in Indonesia. This is possible because the Asian Rhino Project’s administration is funded separately by the Patrons of The Asian Rhino Project.  We are seeking a total of $325,000 for projects in Indonesia in 2012-2013.

Wildlife Asia appeal for Free the Bears
Our appeal for bears such as Kobe the baby bear in Laos has been extended.  To continue this essential work we need to raise over $400,000 for 2012-2013. With your help we know that we can ensure a safe future for Asia’s bears.
