KIDS CUT CONFLICT PALM OIL

Wildlife Asia is very proud to be working in partnership with Kid’s Cut Conflict Palm Oil (KCCPO). We believe that children have such a powerful voice on conservation issues. When kids care, adults listen! This is a truly inspirational bunch of young people with boundless energy and we welcome their efforts to take the message global.

Who are KCCPO?
A group of kids who care deeply about preserving the remaining habitats of endangered wildlife. Witnessing the haze of 2015 they formed with the hope of educating themselves and others regarding the destruction of rain forests of the Borneo and Sumatra for conflict Palm oil.
“We want other kids to know if they stop buying conflict Palm oil they can make a difference and save the habitat of endangered animals” Indigo (13 yrs old, KCCPO founding member)

What are we trying to achieve?
Education and awareness is what KCCPO is all about. We have noticed that children have an innate desire to connect with and defend these habitats and we want to educate them as to how they can achieve this by making better consumer choices.

Through presentations and activities at schools, conferences and events,  we find fun ways to introduce kids to the issues and educate them to read the labels and be accountable for their consumer choices.
